Abstract:	La presente monografía tiene como objetivo general investigar cuáles son las zonas vulnerables a la inundación por las crecidas del rio Piraí, tramo: Municipio la Guardia hasta puente la Bélgica, y elaborar propuestas de mitigación. Para cumplir el objetivo general se plantean 3 objetivos específicos y se desarrollan los objetivos específicos a detalle en resultados, análisis y discusión. Se hace el método de revisión bibliográfica para la identificación de las zonas vulnerables a inundaciones por crecidas, y como solución se plantean medidas de prevención y mitigación
